April’s Journal: Week Two. Part 1

I guess I had an OK week. I lost another 4 pounds, which is more than I expected. This week started out badly, got better, got bad again and then got better. I went a little crazy on Saturday because there was no food in the house and I ate out twice. I finally went to the store so I could eat a little healthier. (more…)

Continuing at a steady pace, each one of us stopped to drink water and catch our breath. Leaning into the side of the mountain considering how far I had been and how far I had to go, I met with a guy who had an altimeter attached to his jacket. “How high are we?’ I asked. The big brouhaha over a minister’s opinion that cabbies should be lined up and shot fleecing tourist provided interesting reading for the sensationalists.

Taxi drivers responded predictably, demanding an apology.

The words and theatrics in this whole scenario are not important. The only thin that customers, whether local or foreign, care about is service and price.

Consumers of any product or service should be satisfied that they are getting decent service at respectable price.

An electrical motor is a device that the operations in the electricity to do something movement. The pieces of an electrical motor are the electromagnet, the axis, the commutator, the brushes, and the permanent magnet. The electromagnet is an object that acts like magnet when the electrical current works through her. The axis is the piece that gives return of the motor. It is a bar that maintains to the electromagnet and the commutator. The commutator is the piece of an electrical motor that allows that the current obtains to the electromagnet whereas they are rotating and also invests the current in the electromagnet. The brushes lead electricity to the commutator. The permanent magnet is to push and to throw around of the electromagnet.
